1. Service scope
FITO Monitor periodically checks the plant protection product registration numbers selected by the customer and compares values published in the official source used by the service. Checks concern only the codes in the customer’s list.
2. Input and activation
The customer provides an Excel or CSV list containing up to 2,000 registration numbers. The customer must ensure that the codes are accurate, lawful and relevant to its business.
The 90-day period begins on the activation date communicated by MachineSignal after verified payment and successful initial technical validation of the list. The maximum activation time, first check date and schedule of subsequent checks are stated in the order summary or order confirmation communicated to the customer. The dashboard reproduces those dates and does not alter them. Invalid or duplicate rows are reported and do not increase the purchased coverage.
3. Frequency, validity and output
Checks are performed during the active period according to the communicated weekly schedule. A check is technically valid when it processes the customer’s active codes against the available version of the source, records its execution date and source reference, and returns a viewable result for each code: unchanged, changed or requiring verification. A source’s failure to publish an update does not by itself make the check invalid.
When the source shows a difference, the service preserves and presents, where available, the previous value, current value, check date and source reference or fingerprint. Email is sent to the business address associated with the order as an alert and may include the CSV file; the complete result and history remain available in the dashboard. Structured JSON data is available for software and AI agents.
Results, including the final check result, remain downloadable for the period stated in the order summary, beginning when the final result is made available. The customer must download and retain its own copy within that period.
4. Official source and external dependencies
The reference source is the public plant protection products publication made available by the Italian Ministry of Health. Availability, structure, update timing and content depend on the responsible authority and may change or become unavailable outside MachineSignal’s control.
If a code is missing or unreadable in the source, it is marked for verification and is not automatically interpreted as revoked, expired, authorised or prohibited.
5. Monitoring limits
FITO Monitor highlights differences in published data. It does not certify the legal status of a product and does not provide legal, regulatory, agronomic or health advice. An alert is not an authorisation, revocation, prohibition or operating instruction. The customer must consult the official act and complete all necessary checks before making decisions.
6. Price, duration and renewal
The price is 49 EUR for a 90-day period and a list of up to 2,000 codes. There is no subscription or automatic renewal. Monitoring stops at the end of the period; a new period requires a new request and payment.
7. Errors, interruptions and remedies
If a scheduled check is missed or an output is technically incorrect for reasons attributable to the service, the ordinary remedy is, as appropriate, repetition of the check, correction of the output or a proportionate extension of the period. If the issue cannot be resolved, the Refund and Credit Policy applies.
If source unavailability prevents one or more scheduled checks, MachineSignal records the interruption and attempts recovery when the source becomes available. If the interruption substantially compromises the service, a proportionate extension or the Refund and Credit Policy applies, as appropriate.
8. Customer’s final decision
MachineSignal highlights changes and preserves the available history. The customer remains responsible for interpretation, verification against the official source and every regulatory, commercial or operational decision.
9. Specific approval
Where required under Articles 1341 and 1342 of the Italian Civil Code, the customer separately approves sections 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of these Service Conditions, in addition to the clauses identified in the General Terms.
